Welch, Justin (drums) Justin Welch (born December 4th 1972 in England) was the drummer in the britpop band Elastica . Together with Alex James and Stephen he recorded "Hanging Around" as MeMeMe. He also played drums on Stephen's solo album "I Love My Friends".
	Weston, Michael (piano) "My girlfriend's best friend played the piano so I gave that to him." Stephen's account of the formation of The Lilac Time sounds like Michael Weston just happened to be around at the time. They had been on holiday in Italy together when Stephen decided to ask his brother Nick if he wanted to start a group. He did and Michael was keen to be involved too. Michael recorded "The Lilac Time" and "Paradise Circus", playing piano and something called an Emax. He left the band after a tour to promote "Paradise Circus" and was replaced by Cara Tivey. He moved to India a couple of years ago to seek spiritual guidance. We do not know if he has found what he was looking for.
	Worrall, Claire (backing vocals, guitar, keyboard) Claire has been a member of The Lilac Time albums since "Looking For A Day In The Night". She has recorded with Robbie Williams and was also a member of his tour band, where she played guitars and keyboards. She has recorded a solo demo song, but no album has been released yet. You can listen to an audio sample in the Q&A General section. Since April 2008 Claire has been married to Stephen Duffy.
	Waterhouse, Nick (guitar) Nick Waterhouse is a member of Bait. Apart from working with Caroline Radcliffe in a band called Three Corners, Nick plays with the legendary and venerable Blue Midnight.
	Wood, Retts (photographer) Retts Wood is a a sought-after U.K. photographer who's done work for Nick Rhodes, Jarvis Cocker and Pete Doherty, among others. She has taken a lot of pictures of Stephen and especially the ones that were used for the covers and cd booklets of "Keep Going" and "Lilac6". It's the tatoo on the back of her neck that can be seen on the cover of "Lilac6". Asked about the tattoo in an interview Stephen said "She's my best friend. And this is her best friend on the back. Strangely, The Lilac Time had a T-shirt that looked very much like that in 1991. And then she had the tattoo and obviously she didn't know that. I was astonished when I saw it. It was kind of like she created this Lilac Time album. Now, actually seeing it like this, I think what have I done? because it's like when we walk down the street it'll be like me and my album cover design. I think I betrayed a friendship in a way." More recently Retts has worked with Stewart Reynolds on the cover of Brittlestar's second album "Secrets" out in September 2006.
