Nigel Kennedy Kennedy, Nigel (violin)

You could write a book about Nigel Kennedy, world famous violinist and enfant terrible of the classical music scene, but we will restrict ourselves to his connection with Stephen. Stephen met Nigel through Brix Smith of The Fall, who were on the Fontana label at the time. When Nigel moved into Stephen's neighbourhood and couldn't play the violin due to a neck operation, they "played a lot of tennis and hung out". When Nigel had recovered from the operation he invited Stephen to come on tour to Australia and New Zealand with him and play some tunes. Back in England they recorded "Music In Colors" together. Stephen played on Nigel's album "Kafka". Nigel's official website is in German: Nigel Kennedy EMI Germany website.
Frazer Kent Kent, Frazer (bass)

When Stephen called Michael Giri to ask him to play with The Lilac Time, it was Frazer Kent, who drove Michael to the studio. He "messed around with the bass" and ended up playing on bass on the following tour.
