Eugene, Jane (vocals) Jane Eugene was a founding member of the london based R&B group "Loose End" formed in 1980. They were signed to Virgin records in 1981 and changed their name to "Loose Ends" in 1983. They signed with MCA in the U.S. in 1984 and had two U.S. number one R&B singles "Hanging on a String (Contemplating)" and a year later "Slow Down". Jane sang stunning backing vocals on "Icing on the Cake" in 1985. She left "Loose Ends" at the back end of 1989 and now lives in L.A.
