Q: Can recordings of the BBC sessions or the live shows be purchased anywhere?
A: Some of the BBC sessions have been released on the 2006 reissues of the first three Lilac Time albums. The rest is not available for legal download
or purchase. There used to be private live bootlegs around (approximately 40 concerts), but the production was stopped three years ago. Stephen was
fairly ambivalent to the bootlegs being a purchaser of many Dylan bootlegs,
but has made it known he never liked the quality of his old work anyway. The quality of the recordings were very, very poor bar one soundboard recording from Brighton Beach. Stephen never asked for the bootlegs to be stopped, the producer just stopped making them.

Stephen has told us that he is working on a DVD, which might include live recordings, video and film of concerts, rehearsals and general larking about. No release date for that has been fixed.

Q: Who is the guy playing tambourine with TLT when they performed on the James Whale show?
A: The Lilac Time were rhythmically accompanied by Johnny Male, sometime roadie for the Lilac Time and guitarist with Soul Family Sensation and Republica. According to The Incredible Nick, he drove The Lilac Time "through fog and snow to the TV studios and was rewarded with a cameo appearance on the James Whale show".
